DFC Consultants, Ltd., a Microsoft Gold Partner is looking for a positive and energetic individual to join our team as a Solutions Consultant in either our Fargo or Bismarck office. This position can be remote for the right applicant.

Job Responsibilities


  • Implement and support Dynamics GP, Key2Act Products and other ISV applications for new and existing customers including design, training, configuring, testing, data conversion and go live support. Key2Act products we support include Job Cost, Service, Equipment and Mobile Tech.
  • Write and customize reports for products using SQL Report Writer.
  • Troubleshoot technical support issues; consulting with others to determine the most appropriate solution.
    Considerable time in front of customers performing planning, training and implementation tasks by following the Sure Step Implementation Methodology
  • Participation in sales cycle by providing pre-sales support and conducting product demonstrations.
  • Contribute to achieving and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and establishing a trusted advisor relationship with our customers
  • Weekly time reporting for jobs worked.
  • Travel is required; estimate about 20% of the time.




  • Bachelor of Science or Arts in Accounting, Business, Finance, MIS or Computer Science or five years of industry experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics-GP and Key2Act software in either a consulting or work role is desired, however, industry experience with other software would be considered. The type of industry experience we would consider is where an individual has been working in manufacturing, construction or service type industries and have applied costing concepts – i.e. flowing inventory, labor and overhead costs to jobs and work orders as a major part of their job. Examples would be production managers or cost accountants.
  • Microsoft Certifications on the current versions of the software is desired.
  • Basic technical knowledge and ability to deliver support over the phone, online and face to face.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot functional, performance system and interface issues.
  • Customer Service focused with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience dealing directly with clients and work with all levels of management.
  • Must be flexible, value teamwork and joint collaboration and be responsible for successful completion of tasks.
